Ways to be happy with everything

"I ain't got nothin'. Glancing at me. Sittin' here at the shelter for the homeless, but I have all over the world, baby. I ain't goin' hungry tonight. I am happy. "-Homeless in the Presbyterian night shelter in Fort Worth, Texas.

Some people are satisfied with all the others are never happy. You ever have noticed that some people who have everything and should be enjoyed, are living miserable lives? As an example, the homeless, which interviewed, quoted above, was grateful for the meal he had made and he felt happy. He told me that he would not be hungry. It was such a simple thing that most of us, as Americans take for granted every day single yet many people here in the United States are glodzenia.

As a professor at the College I taught my students the service learning in psychology. One of the main objectives of the multiple semesters was to help them understand the psychological impact as was homeless and hungry. What they already have so much more. During our work services and interviews with residents in three different places shelter the homeless all learned happy, even when others may be shown as miserable in many ways.

Here's what we learned about ways to be happy:

1. grateful for what you have. Can always be worse. I have never been without food, but met people, who was hungry days. During an interview with a homeless man and told me that he was happy because he was not hungry, that night, I was dumbfounded. Here he was, in Shabby clothes, look at my grandfather would have looked if it had not yet run in the fields was just happy and grateful for the full and not hungry. Gentleman told me that has always been grateful for what he has. We have repeatedly heard these stories, many inhabitants of the "grateful for what you have."

2. learn to appreciate beautiful things in life. Have you ever stopped to listen to the birds sing, rustling the leaves of the trees as the blow in the breeze, observed the gorgeous sunset fades, as in the West or smelled freshly picked bouquet of fragrances of flowers? None of these things cost one penny beauteous. Stop and take a few moments of your day to find this happiness?

3. provide value to important people in his life. In our hectic world we so busy with day-to-day activities and responsibilities that we forget to put a value on most matters. In the life of each person must demonstrate value to the person or persons having this case. Perhaps they are, family members, close friend or several friends, colleagues at work or at school, neighbors, mentors or other. Nothing helps a person realize that they are loved valued and important for you more than for you to inform you they take 'em for a happy and that they are valued.

4. Never give up on hope. Hope seemed number one factor "unseen" for happiness. Some hoped for a job, others hope to find their families, while some people simply hoped for brighter tomorrows. We would all draw conclusions from this. When one loses sight of hope after the loss of everything. Without hope, we have nothing.

As the faithful people and after this experience, I noticed again how deeply blessed my life is. Some of these people has changed me always because of their positive perspective on life and their manifestations of Knowing how to be happy with everything. It would have the same outlook optimistic life if all he had was a pillowcase crammed full with all things, and it was?
