"Whoever is happy will make others happy, too."-Mark Twain.
Simply I came again from the Adriatic Cruise, visiting Venice, Bari, Bologna, and Dubrovnik. Due to flight problems at my previous Baltic Sea Cruise, I decided that the problem already come a day early and leave the next day. This allowed additional time in Venice, disabling the ship. Fortunately, there has been far and wide.
My communication skills were lacking in Italian; Nevertheless, having an Italian friend here in the States helped because it already knew that "Ciao, Bello", meaning "Hello, handsome man, so I used that to my advantage is possible. In addition, the word "grazie" for the thank you was only other Italian word I knew how to say. Never had any problems communicating with the native Italians have met with the attention to one thing ... smiling. A smile is a window to the happiness and helps make other people feel as if they understand and accept them.
The first full day in Venice was completed happiness and bliss. I took many pictures and videos of tourists is smiling, laughing, holding hands and being in love. How can I frontline down each channel and lagoon, and watched from the lovers kissing gondolas and treated people as they scrutinized the lovers. I observed control of revolutionary tuning quickly. Determination of others to be happy or having their hearts filled with happiness makes the own heart Happy also. Venice is such a romantic city, with vendors, boats, gondolas and people from many foreign countries, all coming together. I don't remember seeing anyone who looked grumpy, except in the case of some Americans Mad who were dragging their luggage from the train station to buses, Metro far up and down flights of stairs many concrete. I think that they have previously read Trip Advisor and learn that it was not the best mode of transport upon arrival in Venice.
Ice cream, Gelato or is another Treat infectious and tasty, which calls the smiles all over Italy. I discovered gelato stands in each city in which I visited. It was interesting that the stands were never empty at any time of day, morning or night. The minute hand trucks were developed, the people of gelato, came out in the masses. They will wait like I did, for 20 minutes, if that is what it took to get their little scoop gelato because it provides them with a happy--and that was delicious! Yum, for lemon gelato! Never I have seen a sad face at any of these crowds near the stand gelato.
In childhood development psychology know, little children as young as six weeks old, learn to Smile back on their customer care when you watch a smile. This is not the nature vs. nurture problem--is a matter of luck and a sense of safe. Flip side will ever have noticed that for the 12-month-Old baby in the basket will enable his or her head to find the child who cries of three aisles over? The same applies to the child is in the same aisle with another baby, the independent, by his or her caregiver, and notes that the other child is smiling. Both the infant stops smiling. One of the smile will bring happiness to other children. Perhaps we'll discuss this when we are only for infants. If not, we should.
When you smile at foreigners, even 5880 miles from home, Your happiness becomes their luck, too. What a wonderful feeling to know that something as simple as a smile is contagious, and that the other person happy, even when they were of Marne day.
