Control Your Thoughts As I Do Mine, For We All Become What We Think About

Sure, I lifted the title off an Earl Nightingale seminar, but that is the reality we all as human beings can all agree on. We all become what we do think about and do while thinking about it a majority of the time. If we did not, then, reality would really be just pure random chance. But it is not. It works like we make it work through our thoughts and actions, in that order. Sure, even if you do not agree with me or want to admit this reality, it is how life and existence does work. If life and existence did not work like that, then everyone would be uniformly rich or poor without exceptions and life would be based on pure fate without a chance to improve or get worse. Anyone with normal intelligence knows that the facts are different, that as long as there is a chance to improve, there is always a chance to improve as long as there are variables that can be adjusted somehow. So, as long as we think genuinely independently, we do become our thoughts and actions.

Sure, I could be more technical, but, I want this to be understood, not read and then almost everyone says to themselves in some form, "it sounds nice, but it cannot be put into practice." Realistically, it has to be understandable to be put into practice anyhow. So, think in these terms, if you can think, control your thoughts well, for they determine everything in your life including your actions beyond random chance. Let me put it this way, the better you control your thoughts, the less random chance has to do with it. Come on, though, I am not saying that random chance and margins are totally out of the picture or reality here, but I am saying that things are controllable to the extent that we use our consciousness, thoughts and actions productively in that order.

Sure, I am not saying that it is easy in any way though. I am just saying that things are controllable to the extent that we use our consciousness, thoughts and actions productively. Productively does not mean the same as "easy" or "hard", it just means productively as opposed to destructively. Productive is good, destructive is bad, those are the realistic semantics I am getting at. That last sentence, right there is as technical as I get in this article, because I want everyone to understand and understand in a deeply realistic way what I am getting at in this article. I am only getting technical near the end too, because the core message has been given. Sure, there are three paragraphs to this article that do count as "beginning", "middle" and "end", but realistically, this whole article is really just the beginning to the reality of this subject until put into practice in a permanently working way. When it is that, it is definitely on track forever. But until then, consider this article the beginning. As for the end, well it never ends. Effort and vigilance are forever, so is creativity and realistic productivity. For, it starts with thinking and ends in rational action in the sense that we all must do what we have to do. I end there, but, I hope I have stimulated and informed you of a full reality of the situation in this article. Note that I said "a full reality" and not "the full reality", because "the full" implies that there is a limit, "a full" means that there are other facets and limitless pieces to the puzzle picture before it even reaches close to being fulfilled and "put together" so to speak. This may seem like more semantics and meanings, but realistically, being thorough and honest is what makes it all worthwhile. Thought, action and fulfillment go together like that like puzzle pieces that work together.

When You Become Sick - What Is the First Thing You Should Do to Become Healed?

Whether it's a headache, a stomach ache, or something worse, what should you do to become healed? The answer varies depending on the person and the situation. Some people head for a doctor, others for a pharmacy to buy an over-the-counter preparation they hope will help, some do nothing and hope for the best, while others seek healing through spiritual healing or prayer.

If one method of healing doesn't work, many people will try one thing after another until they find something that will give them relief. It isn't always easy to know what to do or where to go to seek healing because a person's choices can be overwhelming. Consider:
Medical practitioners are practicing medicine in over 200 recognized branches of medicine, and there are a great number of practitioners in each branch of medicine. There are over 300 types of recognized alternative healing methods a person can choose from. There are thousands of over-the-counter medications waiting to be bought.

With all these options available, how can a person know what to do? How does one choose? Is there one, just one very important thing that everyone should do first in order to help themselves feel better and hopefully become healed? If so, what is it?

The very first thing that everyone should do when they become sick is to adopt a positive attitude. You can't always help what happens to you, but you can always choose what to do about what happens to you. You can decide how you will behave in a situation, if you will act positively or negatively, if you will do everything you can to help yourself become healed or if you will sit around and do nothing, often crying and feeling sorry for yourself in the process.

There are benefits to behaving positively regardless of how dire your situation may be. or how difficult it may be to behave positively. Following are a few examples of how being positive or negative can help move you towards or away from healing. In the examples, the positive choices and actions are listed at the beginning of each example and the negative choices are listed at the end of the example.

As you read the examples below ask yourself which of your actions (positive or negative) and which of your behavior choices (positive or negative) would:
Help you to feel better and benefit you - or do the opposite?Help you to heal and become whole - or delay healing?Make people want to be around your and/or help you - or avoid you?

Then you can decide if you want to adopt a positive attitude or just be miserable about the situation (a negative attitude).

Example #1 - HEADACHE: Take an over-the-counter headache preparation to relieve the pain (if it is safe for you to use) OR do nothing and suffer?

Example #2 - CANCER: Seek medical help, pray, use additional alternative healing methods if indicated OR cry, feel sorry for yourself, complain, don't do what the doctors say, lay around waiting to die, and suffer, suffer, suffer.

Example #3 - AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT WITH INJURIES: Follow the doctor's orders, go to physical therapy, take your medications, be cooperative with and pleasant to those attending to your care OR crab, complain, and be uncooperative about everything; dwell and meditate on each ache and pain, whine about your suffering, don't take your meds, feel sorry for yourself, and etc., etc., etc.

Example #4 - LOSE 20 POUNDS: Be cheerful as you plan your diet. If you can't be cheerful, then at least act cheerful. Acting cheerful even when you don't feel that way will help a lot as acting cheerful changes the chemistry in your body in a positive way and will actually help you to begin feeling cheerful. Eat low-calorie nutritious meals and snacks; exercise, and look forward to the new "20-pounds-thinner" you OR complain and gripe about the things you can't eat, whine frequently (or constantly) about how hungry you are, crab about your clothes being too tight, envy others because they can eat what they want and look good and you can't, and on and on and on.

No matter what happens to you, you always have a choice about your thinking and your behavior, whether you realize it or not... a choice to be positive or negative. Positive attitudes and behaviors don't just happen. They are often the result of discipline and practice, but are well worth the effort because of the good outcomes they produce.

If you choose a positive attitude and follow through with positive behavior you will feel better, help yourself to heal and become whole, and people will like being around you.

If you choose a negative attitude and have accompanying negative behavior, chances are your condition will worsen, healing will be delayed, and people won't want to be around you or help you.

So remember, when you become sick, the first thing you should do in order to become healed is to adopt a positive attitude that will lead you to positive action that will lead you to healing and to people wanting to help you and be around you.

Having Positive Thoughts - What You Think, You Become

Your brain works very much like a bank. Every day you make thought deposits in your "mind bank". These thought deposits develop and become your memory.

Everyone experiences plenty of unpleasant, upsetting, and discouraging thoughts. But negative thinkers and positive thinkers deal with unpleasant thoughts in opposite ways.

Negative thinkers take them to heart, so to speak. They dwell on the unpleasant thoughts, thereby giving them priority in their memory. They don't take their mind away from them. At night those unpleasant thoughts are the last thing on their mind.

Confident, positive thinkers, on the other hand, "don't give it another thought." Positive thinkers specialize in putting positive thoughts into their memory bank. Negative, unpleasant thoughts deposited in your memory can affect your mind. Negative thoughts produce needless worry, frustration, and feelings of inferiority.

Thinking in a negative way prevents you from leading a successful, rewarding, and meaningful life. Negative thoughts drain your energy levels, leaving you feeling worn-out. If you pay attention to negative thoughts they will just get bigger and stronger, causing minor issues to seem far worse than what they really are.

No one escapes life's ups and downs. Positive thinkers have their fair share of bad days and setbacks. The big difference is that they are more confident and show a positive attitude when faced with difficult situations.

Positive thinkers are focused on solutions to a challenging condition and getting results. They will invest their time in coming up with solutions rather than waste valuable time dwelling on their problems.

They are also action orientated and they will come up with the best method to overcome the condition and push forward. Positive thinkers take control of the problems and issues in their lives and by taking control they have control over the outcome.

Try this: In those moments when you are alone with your thoughts - when you are out walking the dog or taking a nice relaxing bath - remember pleasant, positive experiences. Deposit good thoughts in your memory bank. This boosts confidence. It gives you that "I-feel-good" feeling. It also helps keep your body functioning healthily.

Here is an excellent plan: Just before you go to sleep think pleasant thoughts and deposit them in your memory bank. Count your blessings. Reflect on the positive things you have to be thankful for; your spouse, your children, your friends, your health. Reflect on the positive things you experienced today. Reflect on your triumphs and accomplishments. Think about the reasons why you are glad to be alive.

Whenever you think of a situation of any kind, focus on the good part of that experience; forget the bad. Bury it. If you find yourself thinking about the negative side, turn your mind off completely. Your mind wants you to forget the unpleasant. If you cooperate, unpleasant memories will gradually get smaller and fade away.

Finally, it really is easy to forget unpleasant thoughts if you simply refuse to pay any attention to them. Withdraw only positive thoughts from your memory bank.

Permanently End Co-Dependent Patterns And Become A Mature Adult

Do you know that most people, without realizing it automatically operate from a series of subconsciously driven programs that cause them by default to feel and behave like dependent, small, helpless and needy children? Do you know this makes them unattractive, unsuccessful in relationships, feel weak and unworthy, lowers their self esteem, and leaves them prone to rejection? Do you know this is like walking around in a hypnotic trance like state believing that you are something/someone other than who you "really" are? Finally, do you know that it is now possible to permanently wakeup from this debilitating nightmare, remember and re-experience one's mature, confident, independent, self sufficient and empowered adult self? Want to learn more?

Suppose you went to a stage hypnosis show and while there decided to become one of the guinea pigs who was on stage. While under hypnosis you were given the suggestion that from now on whenever you perceived that someone was rejecting you you'd start to feel and behave like an unloved, small, weak, helpless, unwanted, needy child of 5 years of age.

So after the show each time this happened you'd find yourself automatically and with little self control rapidly regressing into this embarrassing child like state. Can you imagine how your life would unfold with this internal subconscious program repeatedly being re-triggered?

I am sure that for many of you it's probably more familiar than you'd like to admit and also it isn't because you were ever hypnotised by a stage hypnotist. Rather it's because you were "hypnotised" into believing that you were unloved and unwanted when you were a young and very hypnotically suggestible child by the adults around your who for whatever reason failed to give you the kind of nurturing environment that made you feel safe, secure, wanted, loved, at peace, able to be playfully spontaneous, and grow up to be a self confident, self assured mature adult.

So that means that you remain stuck with an old outdated notion that you are unwanted and unloved. That notion is generated and supported by the old negative memories of the early life events that remain stored inside your subconscious mind and serve as the "hypnotic evidence" for why you feel the way you do.

Few people ever escape this nightmarish trance like state and instead find these limiting negative self perceptions severely constrict their self expression, creative potential and their over all sense of personal fulfillment and success in life. This is unfortunate because all it takes now to address this is to simply "wake up" from that hypnotic trance much like how wakes up from a sleeping nightmare.

So how does one do that you ask?

Well, in this context, waking up, implies that the internal subconscious "movie" called the negative memory that plays itself our on the screen of the mind must be permanently shut off. That is accomplished simply and rapidly with a new empowerment coaching process that permanently deletes those negative memories.

When this happens the individual literally within moments starts to feel more like their adult capable self. The feelings of smallness, weakness, insecurity, low self confidence, inadequacy and so on are replaced with an experience of self sufficiency, independence, inner strength, energy, excitement about life, creativity, self assuredness, maturity and much more to name only a few.
