Get Things Done to Be Ready for Anything

My crusade to make this the year to "get things done when they need to be done" paid off in many ways recently. Several events, both personal and business, came up at the last minute, and I was able to attend them without missing a beat because I was caught up on everything I'd needed to get done. A year ago at this time, I might have felt stressed and overwhelmed at the prospect of taking time away from my well-planned, yet poorly executed, to-do list.

The first event was the wake of a friend's father - of course I would have attended no matter what the state of my workload. But it was nice to be able to give her my undivided time and attention without a nagging voice in my head reminding me of all the work that awaited me. The second event was a plea from an overwhelmed client for me to meet with her at the last minute to pull her tax information together for her accountant. Sorry Uncle Sam, no late filing penalties from that (now) organized and timely taxpayer.

The third event involved a road trip. My son, who is working in Washington State, was going to be in (relatively) nearby Michigan for an interview at the University of Michigan's grad school. My husband and I were able to take an impromptu two-day trip to visit with him, take him out for a decent meal (i.e., not made in a microwave) and give him an in-person hug. Two days away from my phone and computer are a big deal for me, since I typically spend about four hours a day there. But I was able to drop everything and make the trip because I'd taken care of my important tasks when I'd planned to. Last year, rather than completing those important tasks when scheduled, I might have simply ignored some of them and transferred them to the next day's to-do list. Sound familiar?

I've written previously about how to analyze your procrastination tendencies. A written schedule, setting a timer for how long I'll work on something, and a renewed commitment to focus, have all helped me minimize my delay tactics. I've also made a commitment to myself (and several colleagues who help hold me accountable) to end my workday a couple of hours earlier than I used to so that I can have more free/fun time. An added benefit of this shorter workday is that it almost forces me to be focused and efficient - knowing I have two fewer hours to work each day makes me buckle down and get focused.

So what tasks are you putting off? I'd like to challenge you to commit to a day of being focused - staying on task and finishing everything you need to complete that day. Please let me know how it goes.

Wishing you simplicity, harmony and freedom.

Using positive mental attitude that anything that will help

Most people don't seem to realize how important having a positive mental attitude is in everything we do. For example, if you were to take part in an interview for a job and you have qualifications and experience for tasks and tasks, you can still przelknac have either dressed inappropriately or arrived across as negative. Even if you don't speak negatively, but our body language is negative, you will find the others. Never stop your arms folded while talking to someone, especially when outlining the interview and will always be eyes, speaking with interviewer. It shows the interviewer, are positive and show integrity.

This is only one action that having a positive mental attitude will help you with. There are many more such as getting girlfriend or boyfriend, more likely to say the right words at the beginning, if you're as positive. How can you gain positive mental attitude, have yourself conditioned for are negative. Well, this is the easy answer one word, a practice. Keep in mind the famous saying goes a practice ... THE EXCELLENT. Keep in mind that I want to, but with the difference since no one can become perfect, we can all make from time to time we are only human after all. In fact, change the ideal Word to constants, because if we have something to practice long enough then it will hold in Our brains, and then it becomes habit. Is what ultimately we want to achieve here, we want to be positive through the force, but rather by the habit.

Pakruojis is caused by doing the same they prefer. To get rid of a bad habit in this case we have to think negatively, replace it with another 1st habituation, appearing on the screen, why people tend to fail when they try to quit. Failure to replace the habit (smoking) with another habit that you need to know that the smoker as well as tried and failed, until I got an appropriate formula for me. So what can we replace the negative thinking of? Just start thinking positively and make do instead become Your habit.

Try smiling when you're feeling down, even though they may not feel like smiling, studies show that when we're unhappy smiling is actually make us happier even if our Smile is false. So if you're feeling down and he Smile just and can I guarantee that you will feel better. Even if just we see a 1% better, we will achieve more and get better results, 1%, we have to start somewhere, don't we? The next thing to do is go to work without modification in exchange of 1.12, say Hi and other pleasantries colleagues working for change. Feel better, and the second plus is that your colleagues will also feel better so the winner won with nothing to lose.

These two small things can be used in everyday life or with family, friends at work, just using these two techniques are simple, I can 100% guarantee or that you can start feel more positive within yourself. After you do this for a month or two you will get a significant benefit, whether it will be financial or any other long for the program will start to reap the benefits at any time. Yes, try what you have to lose?
